First, sorry about last week's missing episode. Spare time is something hard to find, nowadays.

About his week's episode, a look back to this podcast's first episode: live rock from the 70's (with one track from the 60's). The difference is that, this time, only prog-rock tracks are featured. The first visible consequence is the short tracklist, inevitable as all the tracks pass the 10 minutes mark.

The Deep Purple track is from the infamous "Concert For Group And Orchestra" live album but don't fear, it doesn't even include the orchestra and rocks really hard. Before becoming one of heavy metal's greatest bands, they had already wrote some amazing songs, and the epic "Child In Time" cam very well be the best song they ever wrote.

The King Crimson track is from one of the concerts released in the "The Collectable King Crimson" and it's from the "Red" era. It's one of the best live albums I've ever heard and its sound quality, execution and tracklist are all perfect. The "Asbury Park" is an improvised track that shows all the power of this King Crimson incarnation, where the improvised tracks are as memorable as the album tracks.

Finally, Genesis live in the Peter Gabriel era. Recorded in the "Foxtrot" era, it features an amazing "Musical Box", full with dynamic and as powerful as Genesis ever get.

Enjoy!
